We left Boston with an extra 2 hours to spare. Closer to Bridgeport we couldn't understand the bumper to bumper traffic and the fact that a ton of Search and Rescue Units were passing us.
I made a wrong turn off the exit to get to the ferry and we were stuck in downtown Bridgeport just one and a half hours after they were hit by a tornado. Downed trees and wires plus broken glass littered the streets. Lots of confusion there.
Not sure how we managed because the ferry area was also struck by the tornado. We were lucky that the ferry left late and we still got on.
