When we camp in Pa often young bears make their way through the campground.........mostly because campers have left their food or trash out while they are off enjoying other activities.
Because the kids are so little we wanted to make sure they understood that we are actually visitors in the bears home and we needed to respect that.
In honor of the bears we made bear cakes. Aidan, Grace, Madelyn and cousin Emily helped bake chocolate cakes that we later frosted.....................mmm mmm good! This was actually the first test for our new Coleman oven. What a great addition to our camping kitchen.
