Aunt Rose, Paddy and I caught up with some of my kayaking friends to celebrate Kate's 55th b'day. Everyone was invited to Sunday brunch.
Having a tailgate and extra table cloth made serving all of us very easy for a brunch. The tailgate held fruit with a dipping sauce, several pastries, breakfast sausage links, an egg and potato skillet dish and finally French toast pom perdu! The Sirius radio and Kate's coffee maker were plugged in at the trailer's side table. Coffee is a must in camp!
The weather was cool and no rain expected so we didn't even set up the awning. The state campground was just over an hour away and the trailer towed easily as it was all flat coming and going.
Paddy was shy at first but settled down with all the girls. Special thanks to everyone who took extra time greeting her! That's Sherie greeting Paddy! Paddy got to wear her new jacket as it was cold enough that she was shivering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next trip: Another fall trip at the end of October to another Ohio State Park!
